The fuel hose on the right clearly has A3Q-73 on the data tag. This means this hose was manufactured during the third quarter of 1973, 38 years old. The manufacture recommends that the flexible liquid lines forward on the firewall be replaced every five years or every overhaul, whichever occurs first. Finding these ancient and dangerous lines still in service is routine. The black firesleeve contains asbestos, has not been made since 1979.
